London Rhymes is singing/song-writing project developed and led by one of our Early Years specialists, Rosie Adediran.

​

In partnership with Hackney Playbus from 2017-18, Creative Futures delivered London Rhymes in six children’s centres and community centres around London supported by Youth Music. Each project saw mothers and babies under 2 years old working with Rosie and other musicians to create songs which celebrated the joys and challenges of parenting. More than 40 songs have now been created and recorded and are available to listen to here. The project is currently continuing at one of its original locations, The Magpie Project in Newham.

With funding from The Space CIC, we were commissioned to launch a number of these songs – complete with animations by artist Claire Fauché – on YouTube.
