Julia MacDonell
Julia is a British Australian musician and workshop facilitator with a passion for inclusion of everybody in music making. She trained in performance as a French horn player at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Australian National University, and has a graduate certificate in community development studies from Monash University.

For creative futures she has worked on the sounding out project for deaf and hearing impaired children. She has worked as a music practitioner and guest artists with early years and primary aged children.
Her work with charity Music for Open Ears brings classical chamber music to primary aged children who otherwise would not have access to music. She has also recently won a Sound Connections Impact grant to look at the effect of early years music making in her local community of Tottenham.
